Reformed University and aiLegal Law Sign MOU for Legal Services and Business Cooperation

(aiLegal Law may donate not only research funds,

but also pursue hiring students.)

Reformed University and aiLegal Law held an MOU agreement ceremony for legal services and business cooperation in the conference room of Reformed University on April 25, 2023, and exchanged memoranda of understanding for mutual cooperation.

This MOU was finalized between Dr. Jin O Jeong, President of Reformed University and Lawyer Lucy Lu, managing partner of aiLegal Law, with attending Lawyer Liam Liu and executive faculty from Reformed University.

Following the signing of this MOU, aiLegal Law agreed to provide all necessary legal services as a legal representative for Reformed University. In addition, aiLegal Law agreed to recruit excellent students as well as donate research funds to help secure brilliant faculty to lead future courses at Reformed University.

Dr. Jeong, President of Reformed University said, “Through this business agreement with aiLegal Law, Reformed University will receive the professional legal services that are needed. Using the network of aiLegal Law, Reformed University is able to strengthen their place with other universities in the U.S. and other countries. On behalf of Reformed University, I appreciate aiLegal Law for their work and look forward to a bright future for both entities.”

Attorney Lucy Lu, representative for aiLegal Law, said, “Through this agreement, both institutions will help each other grow for a mutual benefit. As multicultural institutions, it will be great to tap into the diversity we share to help further the development of both organizations.”

Georgia Private Academic Libraries (GPALS)

The library has joined GPALS as a member putting us in the company of other regional schools including Brenau University, Columbia Theological Seminary, Truett McConnell University, and Underwood University to name a few. GPALS, or Georgia’s Private Academic Libraries,is a consortium of the libraries of privately supported, not-for-profit institutions of higher education in Georgia. Membership allows us to participate in interlibrary loan borrowing with these institutions and help with resource purchasing agreements.

Pearson

Instructors have obtained access to Pearson learning materials to enhance classroom instruction. Several courses this semester utilize books published by Pearson including Leadership in OrganizationsConsumer Behavior, and Excellence in Business Communication

Library Book Collection

The library space is open for students to study and check out books. There is a book sign out paper for you to record the book you are borrowing. Books are on loan for one (1) month at a time. Please respect the honor system so that we can maintain our book collection. The book collection is undergoing review to make sure that we have the best and most useful resources available to you for your research and learning needs. If you have any questions please contact the librarian or suggest books using this form.

New Librarian

My name is Christine Willis and I am glad to be your librarian. I look forward to helping you with your research needs and assisting with questions you may have. A little about me, I have an undergraduate degree from Toccoa Falls College and a Master’s in Library and Information Science from Kent State University. I have worked in a variety of library settings over the past 20+ years including academic, public, corporate law firm, and medical. I also work as the clinical information librarian at Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta, Egleston Hospital. I have lived in Gwinnett County for nearly 14 years. Questions I can help you with include:  pointing you to the best resources to reference for papers or projects, help with learning how to format papers and presentations, and general writing tips. I am in the library once a week but am available via email all week and can schedule meetings via Google Meet when needed. I look forward to working with you.
